In this article, we’ll talk about golfing in Sicily, and we’ll take a moment to look at two of the most popular golf courses in Sicily. Specifically, we’re going to look at The Gold Club Il Piccolo, and the Le Madonie Golf Club. As with all of Sicily, these courses offer pristine beauty, and views so breathtaking, you can easily forget that you’re there to play golf, not take pictures!

If you’re planning on golfing in Sicily, you’re going to want to make sure to stop by the Golf Club Il Piccolo.

The Golf Club Il Piccolo is located near the village of Linguaglossa, and lies at the foot of the majestic Etna Volcano. This beautiful golf course opened its doors in 1988. The breathtaking beauty of this course makes it one of the most popular courses in Sicily.

This is an advanced course ranging from hilly, to extremely hilly with water many water hazards. The Golf Club Il Piccolo is well equipped, and has a driving range, trolleys/electrocarts, a putting green, an exercise bunker, and a playground for children. This course doesn’t offer lessons.

After golfing at the Golf Club Il Piccolo, you’re going to want to stop by the Le Madonie.

The Le Madonie is a newer gold club which first opened it’s doors to the public in 2004. Located near the Aeolian Islands, the even weather and sea breezes make this course a true Sicilian experience.

This is an advanced to challenging course, and it is also extremely hilly. This course is also fully equipped with most of the features offered at the Gold Club Il Piccolo. This course is about 120 km from Taormina.
